Emerging, Rapid, and Ongoing Community Response
Charlottesville has a long tradition of community activism, including grassroots efforts and mutual aid. With this site, we hope to make it easier for people to share resources (food/time/money).
The purpose of this site (for now) is to highlight needs and efforts that are emerging and urgent.
Our goal is to amplify grassroots, community-organized care to meet shared needs.
We prioritize urgent needs related to racial injustice, harm caused by ICE, and other forms of oppression and marginalization.
If you would like to list your efforts here, please click on the Submit Action or Need button, or send an email to contact@standwithcville.org.

This directory is limited to small groups/individuals doing the fast-paced work of on-the-ground direct service (e.g., housing, jail support, food, emergency support, legal defense, etc.).
