Food Map of the Valley

The Food Map of the Valley was created and is maintained by a community member, Olivia Hathaway.

The Food Map was started in April 2025 as a way to ease people's fears about the impending tariffs potentially causing shortages at the grocery store by showing where various food products could be purchased locally. Due to the enthusiasm of the community and local farmers who submitted their operations to the map, it expanded to become a statewide resource (now the Food Map of the Valley + More). Then ahead of the SNAP freeze in November of 2026, there was a major push to map all the food pantries in the state. The result is a resource that can be used in good times and in bad, for reasons as serious as "I don't know where my next meal is coming from," to those as light-hearted as "I'd like to find somewhere with local ice cream to take the kids this weekend." With over 177,000 views, it has become a major resource connecting local food resources with local consumers.

If you have a local food resource (farm, roadside farm stand, food pantry, etc.), please fill out the submission form to have it added to the map!
